TABB Certified Professionals subscribe to a strict Code of Conduct and pledge to regularly upgrade their skill level to meet cutting-edge technological advances in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry.

TABB is an organization made up of heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry professionals, including:
- Engineers with membership in the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers
- Contactors from the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association (SMACNA); and
- Labor representatives from the Sheet Metal Workers' International Association (SMWIA).
